Inline Pivot Door With Side Panels Questions

What is an inline pivot door with side panels?

An inline pivot door with side panels sets a pivoting glass door between fixed panels along one wall, including a return panel where the glass meets the adjoining wall. The pivot door handles a wider, heavier opening than a standard hinge.

Why choose a pivot door over side hinges here?

A pivot turns on a pin at the top and bottom, so it carries a larger, heavier door smoothly and gives a cleaner, more architectural look. The fixed side panels frame the door and close off the rest of the opening.

How many pieces of glass are in this layout?

This configuration is built from four pieces — a return panel, a fixed panel, the pivot door, and a side panel — each measured individually so the finished run fits your wall exactly.

What glass and hardware finishes are available?

Every enclosure is made from thick frameless tempered safety glass, paired with your choice of hardware finish — chrome, brushed nickel, matte black and more — and matching hinges. For help deciding, see our custom shower cost guide.
