This layout pairs a pivot door with a fixed panel and a shorter half panel of glass that sits on a knee wall or pony wall, all along one wall line. It suits a straight opening that includes a low tiled wall.
The half panel is a shorter piece of glass that sits on top of a pony wall, while the adjacent panel is notched to fit around it. It keeps the enclosure open above the low wall without running glass all the way down.
Pivot doors are often made from thicker glass and turn on a top-and-bottom pin, which handles that weight smoothly. We size the door so it swings easily and seals well against the fixed glass.
