Every frameless shower door hangs on its hinges, and the right hinge depends on how and where the door mounts. Centennial Glass fits quality shower hinges from C.R. Each hinge has a manufacturer weight and width limit, which is why we match the hinge to your specific door and panel. We’ve been Ottawa’s glass company since 1967 and install more than 1,000 showers a year.
Shower Hinge Types
Wall-Mount Hinge
Mounts the door to a tiled wall with concealed wood blocking behind — the most common way to hang a frameless swing door.
Glass-to-Glass Hinge
Hangs the door off a fixed glass panel instead of a wall — used when the door sits beside a sidelite rather than tile.
Pivot Hinge
Carries a heavier door on a top-and-bottom pin (head-and-sill mount), giving a smooth swing and a clean, minimal look.
Header-Mount Hinge
Mounts to a support header at the top of the enclosure, adding rigidity on taller or wider openings.
Jamb-Mounted Hinge
A hinge kit that fastens to the jamb of the opening — ideal where a solid wall isn’t available at the hinge point.
Hinge & Handle Set
Matching hinges with a coordinating knob or pull, finished to tie the whole enclosure together.
C.R. Laurence Hardware Warranty
C.R. Laurence Co., Inc. (“CRL”) warrants that for a period of three (3) years following the date of sale, CRL Shower Door Hinges are warranted against material defects and defects in workmanship. All warranty claims are subject to inspection by CRL prior to CRL providing a remedy.
This warranty does not apply if the hinges have been installed or maintained in a manner not in conformity with CRL’s instructions and guidelines. CRL’s remedy is limited to a refund of the purchase price or a replacement hinge, which constitutes the limit of CRL’s liability.
Every enclosure we build is also backed by Centennial Glass’s own 2-year workmanship guarantee.
