The decorative border contributes substantially to the finished outside dimensions and needs enough surrounding wall space to remain visible.
Use custom glass as an alternative
When exact dimensions matter more than a mosaic border, a custom frameless mirror can be fabricated for the available space.

Choosing a Mosaic Mirror for the Finished Room
A mosaic frame introduces many small colour and texture changes around the reflection. Evaluate the complete effect from normal viewing distance as well as the individual pieces seen close up.
Coordinate the overall colour
Look at the dominant tone created by the mosaic as a whole. Compare it with paint, tile, cabinetry, countertops, flooring and metals rather than attempting to match every individual piece.
Allow visual breathing room
A mosaic border benefits from visible wall around it. Crowding the frame against sconces, shelving or trim can hide the detail that makes the ready-made design distinctive.
Use the finished outside size
The frame can account for a meaningful portion of the product dimensions. Confirm both the overall size and the remaining reflective area before deciding whether it serves the intended location.
A different-size alternative
Mosaic frames are factory-produced and are not resized through Centennial’s fabrication service. If the available wall requires exact dimensions, consider custom frameless glass as a separate design direction.

No. The mosaic mirrors shown here are completed designer products with factory-produced frames.
What dimensions should I use when planning the wall?
Use the completed outside dimensions of the ready-made mirror, including its decorative frame, and allow suitable clearance around furniture, lighting and trim.
Can Centennial create a mirror in a different size?
Centennial can fabricate a custom frameless mirror to suitable dimensions and shapes, but it would not reproduce the ready-made mosaic frame.
