Shape and silhouette
Round, arch, irregular and geometric outlines can soften a room or create a stronger focal point than a conventional rectangle.
Mirrors designed as focal points
Decorative mirrors do more than provide reflection. Their shape, frame and surface detail can function like artwork in an entryway, living area, bedroom, powder room or finished commercial interior.

Choosing the right mirror
These ready-made mirrors are selected for factory-produced details that are not part of Centennial’s custom fabrication process. Once a design suits the room, check its complete dimensions, orientation and mounting requirements against the available wall.

Texture, layered materials and decorative finishes determine how the mirror reads beside furniture, lighting and artwork.
Ready-made dimensions normally describe the finished mirror, including the frame—not only the reflective glass area.
Planning and measurement guide
Decorative mirrors work best when their scale and detail are intentional. The mirror may still need to serve a practical purpose, but the frame, silhouette and reflection become part of the room’s visual composition.

Start with the width of the furniture and the open wall above it. The mirror should feel connected to the piece below without crowding table lamps, artwork, switches or architectural trim.
Confirm that the reflective area is useful at the vanity—not only that the outside shape fits the wall. Check faucets, sconces, ceiling clearance and the distance between the frame and any backsplash.
A detailed frame can become the focal point, so nearby artwork and accessories may need to be quieter. A simpler room can often carry a stronger silhouette, layered surface or more expressive finish.
A ready-made decorative frame cannot simply be resized. If the wall requires precise dimensions, compare the designer mirror with a custom frameless option or a custom-framed rectangle or square.

The decorative products shown here are ready-made designer mirrors with factory-produced shapes, frames and finishes. Centennial can offer a custom frameless alternative when exact glass dimensions are the priority.
Common locations include entryways, living areas, bedrooms, powder rooms, dining spaces and feature walls where the mirror is part of the room’s visual composition.
Measure the complete available wall area and note furniture, lighting, switches, outlets, trim and sightlines. Compare those measurements with the product’s finished outside dimensions.
