Minster is a heavily textured patterned glass featuring a dense, irregular ripple pattern across the entire surface. It delivers strong privacy while producing a beautifully complex, ever-shifting play of colour and light - one of the most enduringly popular patterned glass styles in our collection.
The dense, irregular ripple pattern thoroughly distorts views behind the glass into richly abstracted, painterly forms. Colours and shapes are heavily diffused without being fully lost, creating a vivid, impressionistic blur that is as decorative as it is private.
The deeply rippled surface refracts and scatters light in complex, organic directions keeping spaces naturally bright while producing a warm, dynamic interplay of colour and light that shifts with every viewing angle.
The dense, irregular undulation creates a surface of genuine visual depth and complexity alive with movement, colour, and light in a way that flat or lightly textured glass simply cannot match.
Works Beautifully in Cabinet Doors and Decorative inserts.

Minster's dense ripple pattern creates a richly textured veil that thoroughly obscures contents while transforming whatever is behind the glass into a vivid, impressionistic wash of colour and light. Contents are completely unreadable yet the glass itself becomes a dynamic, ever-changing decorative surface.

Minster's dense, irregular ripple texture delivers strong privacy while transforming the view behind the glass into a richly abstracted, painterly interplay of colour and light making it as decorative as it is functional. Its timeless, deeply characterful surface pairs beautifully with traditional, transitional, and contemporary cabinetry alike, making it one of the most versatile and enduringly popular choices for interiors where strong privacy and a genuinely striking decorative finish define the space.
Patterned glass is commonly used in kitchen cabinet doors, interior doors, room dividers, bathroom partitions, office privacy screens, display cases, and custom furniture pieces. The right pattern and the right thickness depends on the specific application. Not every pattern is suitable for every use. Come in, tell us what you're working on, and we'll recommend the right glass for the job.
